    Madbull Hop Unit's

Post by aribos on Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:13 am

    Hey guys,

Right so on saturday got my gun back but hop bucking was buggered (my own fault) Now while I intend when I get 5 mins spare to replace it with biro etc and get the gun working I was also looking at maybe a replacement.

After so many people saying about the madbull blue shark rubbers, I was looking at the madbull 3 in 1 hop unit with the tumbler system.

If anyone knows anything about these or better yet has experience please post below.

Just so you know not interested in the tracer element at all its more for the style of the unit and its madbull.

    Thanks,

    Rich

Rich i put one of these in my ares M110 for use as a DMR, fitted with no problems but some upper recievers can be a little tight so the lugs on the hop unit have to be filed.
Good thing about these is that they dont wind off like standard hop units, once set they stay set.
I would recommend when assembling use some lube on the hop rubber cos they are pritty tight to fit.

    Cheers C

Hmm might have to buy one to see, failing that, if it doesn't fit expect on a forum near you soon!

I must admit i was a bit wary about buying one after reading so many bad reports about fit issues, all it takes a bit of a file round the lugs and hey presto, mine dropped in without having to touch it, you also get a very good airseal and they fly straight when set.

Going to move topic to tech section,

    cheers c
